Delete your account

Delete from inside the app

Open RollPoll and go to Me, then Settings, then Delete account. You will be asked to confirm, and to re-enter your password or re-authenticate with Google or Apple depending on how you signed up. Deletion begins immediately once confirmed.

If you cannot access the app

Email rollpollhq@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will verify that you own the account and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Delete some of your data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove content. Open any post or comment you made, tap the menu on it, and choose delete. You can also clear your bio and change your profile picture from Me, then Edit profile. Deleted posts and comments are removed from RollPoll straight away.

What is deleted

Your profile, including display name, handle, bio, and profile picture. Your posts and polls, along with their votes and comments. Your username reservation. Your notification tokens. Your login credentials and the account itself.

What is kept

Aggregated and de-identified information that cannot be linked back to you. We may also retain a limited record where we are required to for safety, moderation, or legal reasons, such as a record of a policy violation. Anything retained is kept no longer than necessary.

Timing

Your account and content are removed from RollPoll immediately. Residual copies in backups are purged within 30 days.
